This ketubah uses a text written by the bride and groom. The design is strongly influenced by medieval Hebrew illuminated manuscripts and incorporates several verses that speak about love: one from the Baal Shem Tov, one from the prayer for putting on Tefillin, and finally, the sheva brachot (the seven blessings said after the meal at the wedding).
